You can, of course, unsubscribe your newsletter at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link that accompanies each newsletter or send your request to the email address above.
Personal data and what we use them for
When you sign up for our newsletter, you provide your first and last name and your email address. We use this data to send the newsletter to you and make the content personally.
Information about your use of the newsletters - including whether the newsletters are opened, how long they are open, when the e-mail/newsletter is deleted and if links are clicked - is collected by our IT system in anonymous form. We use this information to improve our service so we can target and customize content according to our recipients interests.
The legal basis for our collection/storage/processing of personal data is Article 6, (1), subsection b and f of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We wish to create interest in our business with our newsletter.
How long do we keep your personal data?
We keep your personal data until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. When you unsubscribe, you will be removed from the newsletter list, but your data is not deleted from our data processor. If you wish that your data is entirely deleted, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will make sure that they are deleted.
We use MailChimp as platform for sending out newsletters. MailChimp must therefore be considered as a data processor. Read more about our transfer base in the next paragraph.
Transfer of data to third countries
As we use MailChimp, located in the United States, as a platform for sending newsletters, your personal data is transferred to a country outside the EU/EEA.
It should be mentioned that MailChimp is a member of the Privacy Shield Program, which forms the basis of our transfer of your personal data to MailChimp.
It should also be mentioned that the United States is on the EU list of countries that have a sufficient level of personal data protection.
You have the right to gain insight into the data we treat about you
You have the right to have inaccurate data about you deleted, cf. Article 16 of the GDPR.
You have the right to obtain from us and our data processor the erasure of personal data (if we have exchanged the data with such), cf. Article 17 of the GDPR. You can make use of this option by unsubscribing the newsletter and we will inform our data processor that the information should be deleted.
You have the right to obtain restriction of procession of your personal data, cf. Article 18 of the GDPR.
In some cases, you may object to our processing of your personal data, cf. Article 21 of the GDPR. You may also object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing.
