Stellar – the new star on the floor. Winner of the iF DESIGN AWARD 2024

A new star in the world of flat-woven carpets has taken shape in our ongoing product development at the loom. Our master weaver has created a unique structure that captures the depth of the cosmos, where stars and other celestial bodies appear on a dark background of infinity and eternity.

Stellar is the essence of a sustainable, beautiful and hardwearing carpet, made of 100% recycled Econyl^® yarn. This flat-woven carpet has a low, dense weave that gives it a soft, pleasant quality.

Available as LockTiles® – our patented carpet tile concept for virtually invisible seams that creates a convincingly homogeneous floor appearance – as well as ZigZag-Tiles® and modular carpet tiles.

Our modular carpet tile concept gives architects and designers the freedom to create individual flooring solutions, and with the characteristic Shapes by Sebastian Wrong there are almost unlimited design possibilities that can be tailored to the architecture and identity of each project.

To enhance the graphic interplay, we recommend combining between three and five colour shades. The more colours you use, the more character – ranging from calm, harmonious expressions to bold, identity-defining compositions.

The choice of color in contract settings affects the visual appearance and the long-term durability of the textile flooring solution. Darker colorways tend to hide stains and soiling better than lighter ones, often making them appear well-maintained for longer. Since visible signs of wear and staining are often key factors in determining when flooring is replaced, darker colors will most often extend the replacement cycle. As a result, they are generally a more sustainable choice.
